Intro To Slumping & Photo Paper

This class is a natural second part to the Intro to Fusing course or beginner fuser who wants to learn the following techniques.  See photos below for samples of processes covered. This class will be taught by accomplished glass artist Justin Sanchez.

  • Learn how to prepare ceramic/steel molds for slumping
  • Do’s & Don’ts of slumping procedures
  • Students will assemble a project that will be fused & slumped by Rainbow staff
  • Learn the process of Photo Paper Fusing
  • Make a photo paper project that Rainbow staff will fuse
  • Discuss and show examples of Pot Melts
  • Discuss firing schedules and answer any questions that students will have
