– Intro to Glass Mosaics Workshop with Kate Grady 2025

 

This fun introductory workshop for Glass Mosaic will be taught by artist Kate Grady.

 

Students will create a 12″x12″ project.

Students will learn basic glass-cutting skills using traditional glass cutters and specialized mosaic cutters (all provided by Rainbow). After cutting glass pieces, students will be shown how to use grinders/saws to finish off pieces (if needed). Each student will arrange and adhere glass pieces to a wooden base to prepare for grouting. Students will learn to mix grout and apply it to their projects for a professional finish!

Students need to bring:

• Sheet or scrap glass (students may visit our showroom anytime prior to class to purchase glass at a discount)

• Rainbow will provide all other materials and tools including cutters, wood base, adhesive, saws/grinders, grout, and design books for ideas.

    Cancellation Policy: Must cancel spot for class 7 days prior to the event for a full refund. If the spot is canceled 1-6 days before the event, you will receive a credit towards a future class. If spot is cancelled less than 24 Hours before the event, the deposit will be forfeited.
